A boulder in a river changes the flow of the water which over time changes the form of the boulder. How might you apply this idea to your practice?
This class starts out a little slower with some core work on the mat that’s meant to engage and prepare you well for the rest of the hour. The vinyasas start slow and over time build in both speed and intensity.
You will have chances to explore your own perceptions of balancing, in a variety of poses, in a variety of new ways. Think of it like bringing new tricks to old poses, and seeing how those changes influence the flow of energy in your shape. How can this new flow manifest in form? What are your perceived limitations within a balancing form and how can we work to shift those? You'll explore all these questions and end with a fast paced, high intensity vinyasa that will leave you ready for savasana. Have fun with this one!
The playlist features songs from Blake Rose, Miley Cyrus, and Normani.
