Finding optimal alignment feels and looks different for EVERY body. And it depends on the day and what each individual is working with. Now that we have worked physically with the hips and psoas we are going to awake our awareness of our ribs alignment. The obliques are a major player in keeping our ribs in our own unique optimal alignment. We will wake up the obliques as we feel in our bodies where our neutral rib position is. We then will take that into bigger sequences and postures. Energetically, we will focus on listening to our bodies and breath to help us remember that we can be strong where we are even if that means we take different options with our postures. Trust me, when you are standing in optimal alignment for your body there is a strength and clarity that comes to mind and body!
