This is the first class in a 4 part series that focuses on the posture Halfmoon. In this 20 minute flow we will focus on the strength and mobility needed in the legs for Halfmoon. We explore the power the ground can give your muscles physically and your body energetically. Starting on the ground we wake up the legs and integrate them with the action of the core and then move into standing poses like Warrior II, Triangle, and eventually Halfmoon. We also explore a variation of Halfmoon with a bent standing leg to challenge your balance while also continuing to integrate your leg stability. You can practice these flows as stand alone classes or as a series as each class builds off of the other. The playlist features songs from SZA, Florence + The Machine, and Miley Cyris.
