This class is sure to fire you up. After our core focused warm up, we’ll dive right into lunges and the hips. You’ll be asked to find backbends throughout the class, and while that is our main theme, it’s less direct than you might expect. While there will certainly be plenty of poses that are traditional backbends for you to explore, you’ll also be challenged to find backbends in other asanas you may not always associate with a backbend.
After our peak lunge series, which will lead you to revolved half moon pose, you’ll explore one or two backbends on the mat before wrapping up with restorative mat work and of course, savasana.
