Today, our class focuses on balance. We integrate the three components of balance-alignment, strength, and focus- in standing balances like Tree Pose, Warrior 3, and Revolved Half Moon. “Your presence is your power”-Gabby Bernstein. In order to balance successfully, you must be consciously present. The ego hates to lose control, especially when you falter in a balancing posture. If you come back to balanced breath and conscious presence, you can move beyond the Ego’s critiques and step into a state of calm and power.
