The rainy weather today was symbolic of fresh starts and washing away the past. We can always start anew. Each time we enter a new flow or a new sequence, it is a chance to start fresh and try again.
Our peak pose today is a big one-Birds of Paradise! We will explore various arm binds in Low Lunge, Warrior 1, and Triangle Pose. After opening our front body and shoulders, we will explore inner thigh and hip openers in Yogi Squat, Wide Leg Fold, and Side Angle. We will work toward Birds of Paradise, a bound balancing posture, while keeping in mind that this is a gradual peak posture that requires patience and attention to the breath.
